Computer Basics 101  Register!

This class will assist students in feeling comfortable with using a computer. Students will be introduced to the basic steps of using a computer from starting, opening programs, establishing settings, and personalizing the desktop. Students will learn how to navigate programs and save documents on various drives. They will also learn to setup the WiFi in order to access and navigate the Internet.

This introductory course will equip new students with an overview of Excel basics, providing a beginner level foundation of the application. This intermediate level course will build on the basics to expand students' MS Word skill-set as they learn special text effects, mail merging and the tools essential to long documents.

Students will be engaged with hands-on learning as they apply learned concepts to create relevant, mock work examples such as a newsletter, table of contents and more.

Explore Computer Programming  Register!

Have you ever wondered about a career in computer programming? Join us to explore the world of programming! The tech industry is a growing industry and is projected to see the fastest job growth out of all categories. In this camp, participants will learn how to write computer programs using Phython. Activities will be geared toward writing simple fun computer game programs. Prerequisites: No prior programming experience is necessary to take, understand or be successful in this class.
