Society for Human Resource Management is a 12-week program designed to expand your
HR knowledge and skills as well as prepare you for the Human Resources or Senior Professional
Human Resources certification exam. The SHRM course is segmented into learning modules
that cover those HR topics that are most relevant in today's industry and are tested
in the exam. Class meets once a week for 12 weeks and textbooks are included.

HR for the Non HR Manager
This workshop is an overview of human resource issues facing today's business owners and managers. You do not always have the expertise to deal with the many employee relationship issues you face, and yet you will be expected to make decisions that are both effective and legal. This workshop will walk you through the hiring process, from performing a skills inventory to conducting the interview; discuss orientation; and cover some issues that arise after the hiring process (such as diversity issues, compensation, and discipline).

The SHRM Essentials of Human Resources program covers introductory HR topics and behavioral
