The hospitality industry provides a variety of jobs and opportunities to advance worldwide. Learning the skills needed to manage any venue, hotel, motel, resort, or accommodation house and supervise housekeeping staff will position you for success within this growing field.

This course bundle will train you for managerial positions in the hospitality industry. The principles learned can be transferred to multiple accommodation types such as hotels, motels, resorts, bed and breakfasts, or any other business that provides accommodation or lodging. You will learn the different management structures of hospitality, from the front office to housekeeping, and how to organize and oversee staff.

Hotel managers and executive housekeepers must be adept at recognizing quality staff during recruitment and implement training procedures to develop their potential. You will learn the management skills necessary to serve as a supervisor to other staff members and learn how to properly train and organize a team of housekeepers.

Wedding planners combine creativity and organization to help happy couples celebrate the most important day of their lives. Train for a career surrounded by celebratory events!

In this course, you will master the fundamentals of planning, orchestrating, and delivering stunning weddings and parties. This course allows you to earn your certification as a professional wedding planner and will give you an opportunity to put your new skills to work in an optional internship. Lastly, it includes the opportunity to receive notifications on internships in your area to get hands-on experience.

MEDICAL CODING AND BILLING FOR OUTPATIENT SERVICES ONLINE I 618 Hrs. I REGISTER

Do you have an eye for detail? Are you assertive and analytically minded? Would you like to work in healthcare, but spend your time working from home? Then you’d love a medical billing and coding career. Medical billing and coding jobs consist of managing patients’ electronic health records. It’s critical work considering that every patient is someone’s mother, husband, child, or other precious family member. As part of your daily responsibilities, you’ll assign standardized codes to the procedures performed by the healthcare facility you work for. Sounds relatively straightforward, but this is the first step in helping patients get their medical bills covered, so they have one less thing to worry about.

IV THERAPY I 30 Hrs. I REGISTER

This course meets standards established by the FL Board of Nursing for LPNs to administer IV Therapy. Participate in a 6-hour lab (see schedule below) after successful completion of the 24-hour online training. Topics include infusion therapy using peripheral veins and central venous access, infusion of fluids and medications, blood product transfusions, antineoplastic and biologic therapies, parenteral nutrition, and infusion therapy in pediatric and older adults. LOCAL ANESTHESIA REFRESHER I 8 Hrs. I REGISTER

The content of this seminar was designed for the Dentist or Dental Hygienist who has experience administering local anesthesia and is seeking to review the anatomy, landmarks, pharmacology and biochemistry of local anesthetic administration.  Also, this seminar is ideal for the dental professional with the certification but has not practiced the skill for some time.  After this training, participants will be able to (1) demonstrate the various local anesthetic injection techniques, equipment needed, and the areas anesthetized. (2) Discuss the chemical and physical properties of the local and topical anesthetics and the circumstances when each is appropriate to use. (3) Identify the anatomy and landmarks of the skull. (4) Prevent and respond to medical emergencies in the dental office.  You will have the opportunity to interact with your expert instructor and access PDF documents throughout the seminar. This course is not intended for initial certification to administer local anesthesia.  Approved 8 Hours I DH, DN

This Florida General Lines prelicensing course covers the areas of Property, Casualty, Liability, Surety, Auto, Homeowners, Marine, Health, Worker's Comp, Crime, Florida Rules and Regulations, and more.   This course is designed to prepare you to become a licensed insurance property and casualty agent without the loss of production income and time. Work at your own pace with your instructor available by email, posts in the forum, Moodle messaging, or by telephone. This course complies with the State requirements for the General Lines Agents State examination.

6-20 ALL LINES ACCREDITED CLAIMS ADJUSTER DESIGNATION ONLINE COURSE (INS013FL40) I 40 Hrs. I REGISTER

This 40-hour course fulfills the educational requirement for the 6-20 Company/Independent All-Lines adjuster license and is also the first step toward a 3-20 Public Adjuster license. It is a Florida Approved designation course, which functions like a pre-licensing course (you must take it before getting your license). Waives State exam for the 6-20!

4-40 RCSR - REGISTERED CUSTOMER REPRESENTATIVE DESIGNATION ONLINE COURSE (INS005FL40) I 40 Hrs. I REGISTER

The 40-hour "completely online" Registered Customer Service Representative pre-licensing course is designed to meet the requirements set forth by the Florida Department of Financial Services for the Registered Customer Service Representative. Successful completion of this course leads to a 4-40 RCSR license.

In this course you walk through the process of finding and writing a grant application. Using a Theory of Change process, you will learn to engage stakeholders in framing a grant application and prepare a grant application draft of your choice step-by-step. In doing so, you will discover what grant funders look for in an application by reviewing pieces of your peers' grant proposals to provide and receive feedback.
