Gulf Coast State College is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award associate’s and bachelor’s degrees. Gulf Coast State College is also a member of the American Association of Community Colleges, the Association of Florida Colleges, the American Council on Education, and the Council for Advancement and Support of Education.

CAPTE granted the Gulf Coast State College Physical Therapist Assistant Program full accreditation on May 6, 1998 and reaffirmed accreditation on November 6, 2013 through December 2023.

Gulf Coast State College is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award associate’s and bachelor’s degrees.
