This program is designed to prepare you for entry-level work as a physical therapist assistant. Gulf Coast State College offers the necessary courses to help you develop the skills that employers are looking for today. You will get hands-on training in the field of physical therapy through both academic laboratory and clinical practice. This program will prepare you to take the national licensure examination through the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy (FSBPT), and is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy (CAPTE).
