The Culinary Management program at Gulf Coast State College works to prepare students for a career in the culinary industry. Learning opportunities develop academic, occupational, and professional knowledge and skills required for job acquisition, retention, and advancement.  The program emphasizes a combination of culinary theory and practical application necessary for successful employment.

If you are a high school graduate, you can apply to this program.

If you have earned credits from a regionally accredited college or university, you may have a head start at Gulf Coast State College.

This state-of-the-art culinary facility is the newest in the southeast.  With over 9000 square feet of lab space, this $3.5 million dollar culinary center boasts dedicated classroom facilities, the latest in AV and POS technology, three separate cooking lines, Bakery/Pastry lab, Ice Carving lab, and the John Holly Dining Room.  All of this houses within the stunning Advanced Technology  Center at GCSC, a place where culinary students mingle with Digital Media, Cybersecurity, and Unmanned Aircraft and Robotics students.



The Culinary Management AS degree program at Gulf Coast State College is accredited by the American Culinary Federation, 180 Center Place Way, St. Augustine, FL  32095 , as well as the Florida Department of Education and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

Gulf Coast's CULINARY school ranked third best in Florida

Gulf Coast State College's culinary management program has been ranked the third best culinary school in Florida by Best Choice Schools in the "Top 10 Best Culinary Schools in Florida 2016-2017" report.  GCSC was selected based on the solid program offerings, professional experiences for students and their accreditation by the American Culinary Federation.
